Cordia Diane Vaughn, 71 of Rockport, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023, at home with family.
Diane was born in Spencer County on October 21, 1951, to the late Alan and Antionette (Minnette) Weatherholt.
Diane had worked at Parker Hannifin in Tell City until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Vaughn; her son, Phillip Vaughn; her brothers, Bobby and Don Hurst and E.K., Jessie, Jimmy, Walter and Joe Weatherholt; her sisters, Nina Foertsch, Linda Turner and Betty Nix.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Vaughn and his wife, Ashley; her son Phillip’s widow, Angie Means; her grandchildren, Zach, Katie, Evie and Breanne; her great-grandchild, Yuri; her brothers, Roy Thomas Weatherholt and Paul Weatherholt; her very special nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members who she loved and adored.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Tell City.
Visitation is 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
