Marjorie Jean Goodwin, 63, of Rockport, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Margie was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on October 5, 1959, to the late James and Marie (Fulks) Goodwin.
She was a member of American Legion Post 254 Ladies’ Auxiliary.
She loved to play bingo and cards. She enjoyed spending time boating on the river. Her grandkids and great-grandkids were her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her brothers, Chipper Goodwin and Kenny Goodwin.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Burns; her son, Roger Wilkinson (Stephanie Adams); her significant other, Gene Deeg; her grandchildren, Tyler, Electra, Justice and Journey; her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Thomas and Kaesyn; her sisters, Sue Mattingly, Jenny Nix and Judy Wilkinson; her special cousin, Cindy Rice; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services were held Friday, February 3, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating.
