Cynthia Ann Parsley, 67, of Rockport, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Cindy was born in Evansville, on May 26, 1956, to the late Kenneth Ray Neal and Vivian K. (King) Neal.
Cindy was a member of Richland Christian Church. She had worked for the Spencer County Circuit Court as Court Reporter for 33 years. In 2013, she co-founded Spencer County CASA, where she had served as co-director and a volunteer advocate. Most recently, she was employed part-time at the Spencer County Library.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Reid Parsley; her daughters, Krista Parsley and Jenna Parsley; her brother, Mike Neal and his wife, Marsha; her grandchildren, Kaylee Evans and Carson Evans; many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Mary Parsley, and her sister-in-law, Patty Mullican.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastors Drex Stuart and Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m., Friday, June 9, and from 9 until 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
