Spencer County Treasurer, Elaine Jones, would like to remind all taxpayers that Fall 2022 taxes are due by November 10, 2022.
Payments may be placed in the drop box on the east side of the courthouse, in an envelope with payment coupons and a check or money order. If a self-addressed envelope is included, we will mail back a paper receipt. Online payments can be made at www.spencerco.in.gov. Phone payments may be made by calling 1-866-518-2303. Make sure you have your parcel number and amount of payment when you call. As always, payments may be mailed to: Spencer County Treasurer, 200 Main Street – Room 7, Rockport, IN 47635 or you can come to the Treasurer’s Office, 2nd floor – Room 7, at the courthouse and make your payment in person. Payments in person can be made with a check, credit card, cash, or money order. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. central standard time. We do not close for lunch.
JUST AS A REMINDER: PLEASE HAVE YOUR TAX COUPONS WITH YOU WHEN PAYING. THIS WILL SPEED UP THE PROCESS SO YOU WILL NOT BE INCONVENIENCED BY HAVING TO WAIT WHILE WE ARE LOOKING UP YOUR TAX STATEMENTS.
