Doreen Lamar, 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born in Perry County on March 1, 1956, to Albert and Wilma (Cotton) Lamar.
Doreen had worked for Tell City Chair Factory, Tell City Police Department, St. Meinrad Archabbey / Abbey Press and Abbey Data Services and Communication Logistics, Inc.
She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, Facebook and talking to everyone.
She is survived by her sister, Donna Lamar, with whom she lived; her brother, David Lamar of Tell City; and a niece, Rachel Lamar of Tell City.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Services will be on Monday, October 24, at 10 a.m. at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Fr. Steven Donahue officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Troy.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 23, from 1 to 6 p.m. and on Monday from 8:30 a.m. until service time at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
