Fern Tuley, 100, of Dale, died on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Willowdale Village.
She was born on September 23, 1918 in Bone Gap, Illinois, the daughter of Lawrence and Cova McKinney. She married Charles Tuley of Dale on November 30, 1940 in Flora, Ilinois and was a lifelong member of Dale United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Jack of Washington, Van of Ft. Mill, SC and Ronnie of Dale; a brother, Ted McKinney; and two sisters, Joyce Miller and Dort Greathouse of West Salem, IL; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles in 1967; a son, Larry, in 1962; two brothers, Virgil and Ivan; three sisters, Vivian, Louise and Helen; and two great-granddaughters.
Funeral services for Fern Tuley were held Friday, August 9, at Dale United Methodist Church, with burial following in the Dale Cemetery. Rev. Mike Turner officiated.
