Georgianna Lee Britt, 75, of Rockport, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
She was born in Alameda, California on May 8, 1944 to Roy Leon Ellison and Dorothy (Schroeder) Ruark.
She was a volunteer Girl Scout Leader for over 15 years, through which she enjoyed mentoring many girls in the community.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Britt; her three children, Jerry Lee Britt, Jr. (Dana) of Crawfordsville, Terry Britt of Rockport and Nicole Snyder (Matt) of Newburgh; grandchildren, Matthew Snyder, Jay Britt, Meghan Britt, Jessica Snyder, Christopher Snyder and Terry Britt II; sister, Sandra Inman (Ron) of Hatfield; nieces, Lisa Spurrier, Kara Burbano and Lydia Inman; and aunt, Marie Black.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Roy Leon Ellison, Jr; and her sister, Marcy Ruark.
Services for Georgianna Lee Britt were held Saturday, October 19, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport.
