October’s Full Moon, colloquially known as the Hunter’s Moon, rose over a cloudy sky last Wednesday morning. The Hunter’s Moon follows the Harvest Moon, named after the time of year when animals fatten up to prepare for winter and hunters head out to bring in meat for the colder months.
