Jackie N. Morrison of Rockport was formally inducted into the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame in November alongside several other Hoosiers who have served in the armed forces. He was accompanied to the ceremony by his son, Chris.
Morrison entered the army at Ft. Knox, Kentucky in November of 1966 and was soon assigned to the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. There, he quickly distinguished himself through his actions in aerial flight while serving with the 11th Air Cavalry Troop in the Republic of Vietnam.
