Jacob Matthew Masterson, 28, of Grandview, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born in Evansville on July 2, 1993, to Laurel and Dawn (Blackwell) Masterson.
Jacob was a 2012 graduate of Heritage Hills High School and had worked at Masterbrand Cabinets in Ferdinand. He loved his nephews and nieces and enjoyed playing video games and Dungeons & Dragons.
He is survived by his parents, Laurel and Dawn Masterson; his siblings, Brandon Masterson and Allyssa Calligan and her husband, Jeremiah; his grandmother, Viola Masterson; and his nieces and nephews, Alyssa Ormeno, Isabela Calligan, Jackson Calligan, and Jaiden Calligan.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Masterson, and his grandmother, Bonnie Blackwell.
Services are 2 p.m., Monday, December 20, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home- Youngblood Chapel at 36 E. Market St. in Chrisney, with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Little Pigeon Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, December 19, and 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Chrisney.
