Jennifer Lynne Gibbs, 37, of Rockport, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at her home.
She was born in Evansville on October 12, 1984, to the late Jimmie D. and Lisa Ann (Coomer) Gibbs.
Jennifer loved football. Her favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles, but her favorite player was her son, Ja’Quar Johnson.
Jennifer is survived by her son, Ja’Quar Johnson; her brother, Zach Gibbs and his wife, Brittani; her grandfather, Jim Coomer; her aunts and uncles, Scott Coomer and his wife, Peggy, Pam Murphy and her husband, John, Tim Coomer and his wife, Michelle, Rachael Gibbs, Brian Gibbs and his wife, Darla, and Tracy Gibbs and his wife, Misty; her nieces and nephews, Taylor, Cory, Abby, Kloi, Faith, and Raylin; and several cousins, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jimmie Joe Gibbs, Doris (Brown) Gibbs, and Zonna Mae (Masterson) Coomer, and her uncle, Kenny Gibbs.
Services for Jennifer Lynne Gibbs will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 30, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
