JoAnne Horn, 92, of Rockport, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Rockport.
JoAnne was born in Spencer County, on August 26, 1928, to the late William C. and Mary E. (Griepenstroh) Arnold.
JoAnne was a 1946 graduate of Chrisney High School.
She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, and a 50 year member of Garnett Chapter No. 146 OES, where she was also a past Matron and a past Grand Representative.
JoAnne retired from South Spencer High School where she had worked as a custodian.
In addition to her parents, JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband, Everett (Bud) Horn, who passed away in 2004 and her brother, Jim Arnold.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Crowe and her husband, Jim; her sons, David W. Horn and his wife, Tracy, and Dwight L. Horn and his wife, Patti; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services are private. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
