Lincoln Hills Development Corporation recently purchased KN95 masks to provide as a donation to local area health organizations in Perry, Spencer, and Crawford counties to assist with combating the COVID-19 crisis. KN95 masks are personal protective equipment that are vital for all healthcare providers when treating COVID-19.
LHDC’s Spencer County Resource Coordinator, Linda Inman, delivered 500 KN95 masks to Spencer County Health Department, who will distribute, at their discretion, the KN95 masks to Spencer County Emergency Responders and local nursing homes. Lynn Varble and Kim Hay, Public Health Nurses with Spencer County Health Department, will oversee distribution of the donated masks.
The Resource Coordination Program is a new program at LHDC that involves Resource Coordinators working with individuals and families to assist with identifying needs and coordinating services and resources in a systemic way. Resource Coordinators are available in Perry, Spencer, and Crawford counties.
