Mary Josephine Maurer 96, of Dale, died on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Scenic Hills at the Monatery in Ferdinand.
Mary was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on March 7, 1924, to Gobel and Ethel (Lindsey) Childress.
She attended and was a member of Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Huntingburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Maurer and siblings.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Smith of Dale and brother Wayne Childress of Bloomfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Huntingburg, 406 East Third Street, Huntingburg, Indiana 47542.
