Mary Rebecca “Becky” Middleton, 69, of Grandview passed away peacefully at The Waters of Rockport in Rockport on Friday, March 29, 2024.
She was born to Fred and Stella (Smith) Embry in Hawesville, Kentucky on January 26, 1955.
Becky was a graduate of Chrisney High School and worked in the genealogy department of the Spencer County Public Library in Rockport starting in 1990 until she left in 2015. She served many families during that time not only in Spencer County, but families far beyond the Spencer County lines.
Becky is survived by her husband, Richard Middleton I of Grandview; son Brad (Shannon) Middleton of Grandview; and grandchildren Tyler Sias, Myah Middleton, Alyssa Middleton, Grace Middleton, Ashton Middleton, Wyatte Madden, along with many nieces and nephews.
Becky was proceeded in death by her parents; son, Richard Middleton II; brothers Carl Embry, Charles Embry, Jerry Embry, Daniel Embry; and sisters Marilyn Embry and Virginia Hall.
Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating.
Visitation is from 1 until 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
