Nina Delores Mayo, 84, of Rockport, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at The Waters of Princeton.

She was born in Spencer County on April 24, 1936, to the late Albert Sheldon Ice and Wilma Wynona (Winkler) Ice.

She was a Quality Control Supervisor at General Electric in Owensboro, Kentucky, from which she retired after 36 years of service.

She was a member of Free Zion Baptist Church in Rockport, and enjoyed traveling with her friends and family.

Surviving are her children, William Albert Mayo and his wife, Geri Ann, of Patronville, Angela Jean Payne of Tell City and Teresa Marie HarBison and her husband, Jon, of Princeton; grandchildren, Gloria Jean Payne, Kenneth Allen Payne Jr. and James Eugene Payne; great-grandchild, Violet Jane Hibbs; sister, Sheldona Kempf and her husband, Tom; and her dog, Lucky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene “Gene” F. Mayo, and her sister, Glenda Gibbs.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 10, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Alan Brock and Pastor Robert Carr officiating. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield. 

Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. and from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
