All six North Spencer schools have now shifted to virtual learning due to a recent uptick of positive student COVID-19 cases, a large number of close contacts, and insufficient staff available to properly instruct and supervise students. The announcement was made last Wednesday, with virtual learning beginning Friday, November 13 and scheduled to last through Tuesday, November 24. Only JV and Varsity sports will be permitted during that time.

With Thanksgiving break scheduled for Wednesday-Friday, November 25-27, in-person classes are scheduled to resume on Monday, November 30.

As has been the practice throughout the school year, the North Spencer School Corporation and its administrators will continue to be in contact with the Spencer County Health Department regarding positive case results and their impact on schools.
