The old Santa Claus Water Tower was taken down last Tuesday. The giant structure was methodically taken apart throughout the day as workers rendered it down into manageable pieces and salvage. The new water tower, as well as new water wells, came online this year as part of the town’s capital projects to improve water service and reliability. A great deal of work on the wastewater system is expected with the new year, so motorists are advised to be wary of work zones.
