The Rockport Street Department has been hard at work this season as more and more leaves give up the ghost. A vacuum leaf loader has been making the rounds to collect accumulated leaves and debris on the roadside, leaving behind relatively clear streets. There’s still plenty of color in local trees, however, so the job will likely continue for awhile.
