When Lincoln Trail Elementary Principal Ben Lawalin told the massive crown assembled inside the school’s auditorium, “Nobody does Grandparents Day and Veteran’s Day like we do at Lincoln Trail,” he wasn’t kidding.
Lawalin explained that some of this uniqueness is because the program is “run by the students.”
Based on that fact many of those students may have a future in script development as the program they put together had it all — heart, sweetness, a few tears and quite a bit of joy.
