ROCKPORT – South Spencer students, staff and families gathered outside the high school Thursday evening for the corporation-wide “Back to School Bash”. Local businesses and organizations, as well as the schools themselves, set up enough booths and activities in the student parking lot to rival a respectable fair. The crowd size was nothing to sneeze at as well.

Kids got a chance to meet and greet with teachers, gather school supplies and other goodies from various booths, or simply enjoy a rather pleasant summer evening together before the start of the school year. Some might have found inspiration for their future curriculum, as many high school classes showed off the products of their endeavors, including a mobile robot serving a greeter with Baby Yoda at the helm.
