FULDA – It was a beautiful Sunday for a church picnic, and St. Boniface Catholic Church took full advantage. The grounds filled quickly that morning, due in no small part to the fast-growing line for Fulda’s Famous Soup. People from near and far showed up with gallon jars at the ready to stock up on that particular delicacy. Others sought out the baked and canned goods at the country kitchen, food vendors, quilt wheel, and other activities. Those looking to get out of the sun for a bit took a chance to admire the historic Romanesque Revival brick church, which stands 150 feet tall over the small community.
