Sherley B. (Boone) Belcher, 86, of Evansville, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville,.
Sherley was born in Laconia on August 31, 1934, to Harold and Fidelia (Shields) Boone.
She had worked in the loan department and as a teller at Farmers State Bank. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Sherley was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, was a former Tri Kappa member and a former 4-H club leader.
In addition to her parents, Sherley was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Belcher, and her brother, Sheldon Boone.
Sherley is survived by her sons, Kedric Belcher (Sherri) and Kyle Belcher; her grandchildren, Brett Belcher, Kim Allen (Sheldon), Katie Heim (David), Matthew Belcher (Catrina), Mark Belcher, Nicholas Belcher and Maddie Yates; her great-grandchildren, Brody Belcher, Briar Belcher, Rylie Glaser and Haley Allen; and her sister, Helen Vitt.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at Old Goshen Cemetery in Laconia.
