Today, the Spencer County Health Department recorded six new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 2,149. Happily, there were no additional deaths reported.There are currently 80 people in home isolation, three in the hospital or rehab and 2,045 have recovered. The death toll remains at 25.
Today, the Indiana State Department of Health recorded nine new cases of COVID-19 in Dubois County and no additional deaths, bringing the totals to 5,673 and 82, respectively. School data was also reported. There were between 5 and 20 new student cases reported. A more precise count is not possible, because fewer than five cases are listed as “less than 5” due to privacy issues. Four Dubois County Schools reported fewer than five new cases. The other 12 of the county’s 16 schools reported no new cases.
