Spencer and Dubois County COVID-19 Reports – March 31, 2021

At 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, the Spencer County Health Department reported a total of 2,279 cases of COVID-19. Ten individuals are currently in home isolation, 2,340 have recovered and 29 people have died of the virus.As of Wednesday, March 31, any Hoosier over the age of 16 is eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccination. Spencer County retains its Yellow advisory designation. Long-term care facility counts are also updated on Wednesdays. None of Spencer County’s nursing homes reported any new cases or deaths.

On Wednesday, March 31, the Indiana State Department of Health (IDSH) recorded five new cases of COVID-19 in Dubois County, bringing the total to 6,031. County metrics are updated on Wednesdays, and Dubois County has slipped back into the Yellow zone. The county’s positivity rate has rise to 5.8%. As of Wednesday, March 31, any Hoosier over the age of 16 is eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccination.
