Sleepy driver
Clint Albin, 36, of Tell City, was southbound on CR 125 W near Gentryville when, he later told police, he fell asleep and drove off the roadway. The 2002 Chevrolet Malibu then traveled down into a ditch before hitting a culvert at the edge of a driveway, causing the car to overturn several times. Albin was not injured in the January 22, 12:55 p.m. accident. Damages were estimated between $1,000-2,500.
Sleepy driver, Part 2
Jarrod Johnson, 45, of Nashville, TN, was eastbound on SR 66 near Rockport when, he later told police, he fell asleep at the wheel and struck two mailboxes and a School Zone sign just off the roadway. Johnson was not injured in the January 23, 6:47 a.m. accident. Total damage was estimated between $1,000-2,500.
