Rear-end collision
Nathaniel Barker, 20, of Princeton, was stopped in traffic at the traffic light near the intersection of SR 66 and 161 in Rockport when his 2008 Toyota RAV4 was struck from behind by a 2004 Ford Escape driven by 19-year-old Devin Embry of Richland. According to the report, it was raining heavily in the area at the time of the accident and Embry was not able to stop in time to avoid hitting Barker’s vehicle. Neither driver was injured in the May 16, 4:27 p.m. accident, but damages were estimated between $2,500-5,000.
