Rear-end collision

Michael Brumfield, 38, of Tell City, was attempting to turn left onto CR 1250 E from SR 66 when his 2013 Ford F150 was struck from behind by a 1998 Lincoln Towncar driven by 83-year-old Charles James of Troy. Neither driver was injured in the April 28, 2:36 p.m. collision near Grandview, but damages were estimated between $2,500-5,000.

Hit and run

John Bevil, 41, of Philpot, KY, was northbound on SR 161 near Rockport when, he told authorities, a southbound white pickup truck crossed the centerline and into his lane, swiping Bevil’s Nissan before continuing on. Bevil was not injured in the April 30, 5:36 a.m. collision, but damage to his vehicle was estimated between $2,500-5,000. 

One driver injured, one flees after collision

Stanley Kepley, Jr., 57, of Rockport, was attempting to make a left turn onto Eureka Road from SR 161 when his 2006 Toyota Avalon was struck from behind by a 2013 Ford Escape driven by 36-year-old Richard Light, Jr. of Owensboro, KY. According to the report, Kepley was transported by ambulance to Owensboro Hospital to be treated for neck pain, while Light fled the scene on foot. As of the time of the report, Light had not been located. Damages in the May 1, 8:03 a.m. collision near Rockport were estimated between $10,000-25,000.
