Steam & Electric Railroads of Spencer County Program. Railroad Expert & Historian, Craig Berndt will present a free R.R Program on behalf of the SCHS.
Spencer County uniquely featured electric interurban railroad lines which generated electricity from a large generator in Hatfield, on the E & OV Railroad. These lines were connected to the Steam and later Diesel Railroad lines which coversed Spencer County.
