The Rockport Trinity United Methodist Church’s Bell Choir helped fill the town of Santa Claus with music during the busy shopping season. The choir set up at the historic 1880 Church at the Santa Claus Museum and Village, becoming a big attraction for the many families paying a visit to ship off some last-minute letters to Santa December 16. The ringing of hand bells could be heard through the church’s historic halls and beyond, helping ring in the holidays. Participating members included Choir Director Jane Boultinghouse, Peggy Parson, Charlotte Ayer, Judy Davis, Norine Wood, Connie Hargis, Bill Richardson, Mary Seitz, Judy Uhde, Jennifer Butcher, and Pastor Matthew Davis.
