Wilma G. Christensen, 95, of Hatfield, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.
Wilma was born in Alpena Township, Michigan on January 17, 1927 to the late William and Marion E. (Beaudoin) Arntfield.
A homemaker, Wilma enjoyed crafts, plants and especially taking care of her family. She was a member of Hatfield United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry LeRoy Christensen; son-in-law, William “Bud” Krantz Jr., granddaughter, Cami Sue Christensen; and eight siblings.
Wilma is survived by her daughter and caretaker, Linda Krantz of Hatfield; son, Ronald Christensen and his wife, Carol of Loveland, Colorado; grandchildren, Twila Kempf (Jay), Karla Cooper (Tom), Michelle Remus (Matt) and Ronnie Christensen (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Alex Kempf (Amber), A.J. Kempf, Kyleigh Cooper (Gabe), Ally Kempf, Abigayle Mullen, Kayla Carroll (Tom), Brianna Reeves (Jason), Alandra Remus, Melyssa Christensen (Max), Rebekah Kalra (Ian) and Emilee Christensen (Brett); sister, Winifred Custard; 11 great-great-grandchildren; many extended family and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Steve Buse officiating. Burial is in James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the funeral home.
