A formation workshop on Personality Styles will be offered on Thursday, October 10, and Friday, October 11, at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, St. Meinrad.
Having a basic understanding of human personality is an essential tool in ministering to others. In this workshop, Br. John Mark Falkenhain, OSB, a psychologist and faculty member of the Seminary and School of Theology, will provide participants with a basic framework for understanding personality. He will then concentrate more specifically on emotionality, drawing implications for emotional problem solving; handling conflict; boundary setting; and exercising empathy in ministry.
The workshop sessions will be held Thursday evening through Friday afternoon. The workshop fee is $100. Participants can register at www.saintmeinrad.edu/continuing-formation/pastoral-formation-workshop/.
The program is being offered by the School’s Graduate Theology Program. For more details, contact Morgan Simon at [email protected] or (812) 357-6341.
