Patricia “Patty” Delene (Foerster) Schleiss, 80, of Paris, TN, passed away October 5, 2019, at Towne Square of Puryear in Puryear, TN.
She was born May 22, 1939 in Buffaloville to Oscar John and Sally Francis (Swearingen) Foerster.
A member of Tennessee Valley Community Church, she worked for Dr. Gibson Kimberlin for 20 years as an LPN at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN. She had also previously worked in Murray, KY for 10 years in labor delivery.
Surviving are her two daughters, Cyndi (Harry) Rogers of Columbus, OH and Kim Kemp (Ricky) Cooley of Buchanan, TN; three sisters, Delores DellaMorta and Margaret “Bammy” Foerster, both of Dale, and Sharon Bender of Santa Claus; two brothers, Charles Ansel Foerster of Chicago, IL and Jim (Joyce) Foerster of Puryear, TN; six grandchildren, Deryc Painter, Regan Haney, Julia Spruill, Frankie Crouch, Nikki Crouch and Haleigh Clary; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Frank Kemp, who died on September 11, 1980; and a brother, Ben Foerster.
Funeral services for Patricia “Patty” Schleiss were held Wednesday, October 9, at McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris, TN. Her body was cremated following the service.
