William Scott Gunn, 57, of Rockport, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020.
Scott was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on December 26, 1962, to the late William E. Gunn and Shelby J. (Pierce) Gunn Adams.
Scott had served in the United States Marine Corp. He had been an electrician with AEP for many years, and had also worked at OMU.
In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Kenny Blissett and his niece, Krystal Tardo.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly Gunn; his children, William J. “B.J.” Gunn, David Gunn and Amanda Benson; his stepchildren, Amber Bonty, Travis Bonty and Anna Aveline; his grandchildren, Ryan Gunn, Thomas Gunn, Sabella Gunn, Aleck Gunn, Andrew Gunn, Kali Gunn, Jordan Hughes and McKenzie Benson; his siblings, Tom Gunn, and his wife, Chris, Teresa Gunn, and Julie Blissett.
Services were held Saturday, October 17, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland.
