Matthew Alan Bittle, 28, of St. Meinrad, died Friday, November 13, 2020, at his home.
He was born November 4, 1992, in Huntingburg, to James and Linda (Williams) Bittle. Matthew loved his cat Bo, animals, nature, making people happy and bear hugs. He graduated from Heritage Hills High School in 2011 and was on the swim and dive team. He was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Dale.
He is survived by his parents, James and Linda Bittle; brother, Jesse (Irene) Bittle; sisters, Sarah (Matthew) Leistner and Theresa Bittle Peterson; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Mickey Bittle, Pearline and Giles Williams and step grandpa, Tony Kluemper.
A funeral mass is planned for 11:30 a.m. CST Thursday, November 19, at St. Francis of Assisi – St. Joseph Church in Dale, with a visitation/Celebration of Life from 10:30 a.m. CST until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of the family. Fuller Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
