On Wednesday, December 23, 1,429 cases of COVID-19 had been recorded in Spencer County, as well as eight deaths.
Thursday, December 24 saw an increase of 16 new cases, bringing the total to 1,445.
Christmas Day there were 27 new cases reported and total cases rose to 1,472.
On Saturday, December 26, 20 new cases were reported. As of press time, the total stands at 1,492. No new deaths were recorded over the four-day period.
There are currently 160 people in home isolation and four in the hospital.
The good news is that 1,373 people have recovered.
