Lawrence Allen “Larry” Froehlich, Sr., 79, of Grandview, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at Golden Living Center in Tell City.
Born September 10, 1941, in Tell City, he was the son of the late Edward and Ethel Vaughn Froehlich. Larry married Joyce Cronin on March 9, 1963. He had a long and varied career in electrical and millwright jobs with 10 of those years at Alcoa.
Larry enjoyed fishing, gardening and any kind of mechanical tinkering.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Joyce Froehlich; children, Jola (David) Vanover, Larry (Tina) Froehlich Jr., Tyla (Heath) Zellers, Tige (Alesha) Froehlich and Katrina (John) Rogier; sisters Dorothy Collins, Virginia White, Anita White and Dolores (Fred) Marr; grandchildren, Tasha Vanover, Brianna Rininger, Taylor Vanover, Sheldon Froehlich, Jarred Froehlich, Dakotah Asbell-Hendricks, Dylan Seng and Devyn Seng; great-grandchildren, Henry Hendricks and Beatrice Rininger; brother-in-law, Ed (Debbie) Cronin; sisters-in-law, Lois Froehlich and Sharon Froehlich; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Bill, Bernard and Don, and a sister, Bernadine Alvey.
