Luke Matthew Helms, 39, of Newburgh, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
He was born on September 30, 1981, in Evansville, to Dennis M. and Pamela M. (Cornett) Helms.
A 2000 graduate of South Spencer High School, he had worked as a carpenter with his dad and was a supervisor at Kaiser Aluminum Warrick. He loved riding his Harley with his friends.
Luke is survived by his children, Matthew Helms, Macy Helms, Elsie Helms, and Charley Helms; his parents, Dennis and Pam Helms; a sister, Megan Poole; grandfather, Thomas Walden; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and biker brothers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Golda Helms and Carolyn Cornett.
Services are 3 p.m. Friday, August 20, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial is in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland.
Visitation is from 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 19, and from 2 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
