David Michael Irwin, 61, of Rockport, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at his home.
David was born in Evansville, on September 7, 1959, to the late John H. and Callie Marie (Taylor) Irwin.
David served proudly in the United States Army during Desert Storm and was a member of the Rolling Thunder. He retired after 28 years of service from the United States Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Johnny Irwin, George Edward Irwin, Kenneth Harland Irwin and William Talton Irwin.
David is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna (Canary) Irwin; children, Tony Irwin (Ashley) and Keith Irwin (Tina); grandchildren, Brianna, Isaiah, Logan, Roman, Layla and Alice, Jaime; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, with Pastor Barry Kirves officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, with the Warrick County Veterans Memorial Services to conduct military honors.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
