Catherine Dianne Durbin, 81, of Chrisney, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Dianne was born in Chrisney, on June 7, 1940, to the late Lloyd and Catherine (Weber) Litkenhus.
Dianne was a lifetime member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Chrisney. She graduated from Chrisney High School in 1958 and went on to get her nursing degree from St. Mary’s Nursing School in 1960. She was a member of the Rockport American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Dianne retired from ALCOA after 25 years and enjoyed golfing, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Litkenhus; and sister, Angela Hamilton.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank Durbin of Chrisney; children, Frank Durbin Jr. and his wife, Lacey of Centerville, Christine Bunch and her husband, Roger of Rockport, Deanna Hill and her husband, Aaron of Santa Claus, David Durbin and his wife, Sara of Centerville and Dennis Durbin of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Alex, Dallon, Trey, Luke, Jessica (Nate), Madison (Isaac), Lyndsey, Deedra (Cody), Darian, Austin, Ethan and Dane, Landon, Charlee; great-grandchild, Isabella; siblings, Rosemary Clawson and her husband, Joe and Joe Litkenhus (Ruth); several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 31, at St. Martin Catholic Church in Chrisney, with Father Ron Kreilein officiating. Burial will follow in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery in Centerville. A Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Visitation will be from 3 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, Youngblood Chapel in Chrisney and again from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
