Daniel “Danny” W. Smith, 75, of Newburgh, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.
Danny was born December 12, 1946, in Huntingburg, to Ernie and Irene (Long) Smith.
He retired from Alcoa after 42 years of service and was a member of Rockport Masonic Lodge. Danny loved playing golf, fishing and watching sports.
Danny is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen (Kunz) Smith; his son, Chad Smith and his wife, Naz; his grandson, Ramzi Smith; and his sister, Janet Geer.
A Masonic service was held on Sunday, March 27, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home – Youngblood Chapel, 36 E Market Street, Chrisney. Burial followed at Sunset Cemetery in Evansville.
