I. Louise Linegar, 102, of Rockport, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the Water’s of Rockport.
Louise was born in Chrisney on June 24, 1921 to the late Russell and Anna (Bailey) Chapman.
Louise had worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Rockport and supported World Bible School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard; siblings, Jack and Joe Bill Chapman; nephew, Ned Richards; and son-in-law, Michael Hack.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hack of Rockport; granddaughter, Mysti DeMarco of Rockport; great-grandchildren, Mikey and Jimmy Stratford; niece, Clauda Gayle Mayo; nephew, Tony Richards; and many extended family and friends.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Jimmy Bunch officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Rockport.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, July 6, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
