Loretta Joyce DeWeese, 88, of Rockport, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Loretta was born in Burn City on May 30, 1935, to the late Curran and Agnes (Jarboe) DeWeese.
She had worked at the Spencer County Courthouse for many years.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph; her sisters, Lois Jean and Ruth; and her infant brother, Raymond Leroy.
Loretta is survived by her siblings, Patricia McFadden of Owensboro, KY; Doris Coursey of Benton, KY; and Morris DeWeese of Owensboro, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday, October 22, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Visitation is from 12 until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
