Victoria Lee Blythe Williams, 60, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away on June 30, 2024, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.
Victoria was born in Owensboro on May 11, 1964, to Norwood Blythe and Juanita Schwartz. Victoria worked as a Nurse at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
Victoria found solace and joy by the ocean, where she spent countless hours soaking in the sun and relishing the tranquility of Panama City Beach. Her adventurous spirit led her to embrace thrilling activities like horseback riding and swimming. Fishing was another passion for Victoria, as she enjoyed the patience and peace it brought her. She was devoted to her family and her beloved dog, Phoebe.
Victoria was preceded in death by her grandparents, TJ and Corrina Therber and Cecil and Edward Schwartz, her infant sister, Rhonda Schwartz, and her dog, Sable.
Along with her mother and stepfather, Ronald Schwartz, who raised her as his own, those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael (Jennifer) Shelton, and caring daughter, Amanda Shelton; her grandchildren, Raleigh and Kole Shelton; her brother, David (Shelly) Blythe; her stepsisters, Sharla Christian and Lynetta Schwartz; her special niece, Hannah Blythe, her cherished niece, Haley Blythe and her nephews, Brandon and Brady Blythe.
Services will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastor Jim Coleman presiding. A private family burial will take place, at a later date, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland City. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 5, and again from 12 p.m. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
