Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial went into the weekend of National Public Lands Day at full tilt. Even before volunteers mustered at the Living Historical Farm to mend fences, the village played host to more than 100 first graders from William Tell Elementary. The students spent most of Thursday trading time between the farm and memorial center, learning about Abe Lincoln’s time in Southern Indiana and how pioneers lived during his residence here.
