The 13th annual St. Meinrad Rocks moved indoors this year, but even in the confines of the St. Meinrad Community Center the party was still hopping all weekend. St. Meinrad Boy Scout Troop 102 kicked things off Saturday with the presentation of the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a rendition of the National Anthem by James Wagner Jr. on the guitar. As more and more guests arrived, the festivities grew to include a bunch of (literal) party animals. Amazon John introduced kids to a number of interesting critters from around the world. Once the stage was set up for the evening, attendees were set for entertainment, food, and camaraderie with fellow fans of rock and roll.
