Kenneth Leo Bryant passed away at the age of 85 on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at The Waters of Rockport.
Kenny was born in Tell City on May 22, 1940.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960, where he was a sharpshooter. He retired from Whirlpool and had worked at a golf course in Florida, having moved there with his wife, Opal, in 1998.
Kenny loved playing golf and being with his grandchildren. He was a very kind soul.
He leaves to cherish his memory his good friend, Tammy Allen, who lives in Oak Hill, FL. They enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with each other.
Kenny was preceded in death by his wife, Opal; his parents, William and Louise Bryant; one brother, Albert Bryant; sisters, Bess Kellems, Mary Kraft, Ruth Sandage, Mae Nevitt, Virgie Hoosier, and Betty Embry.
Kenny is survived by his son, Mike Bryant of New Smyrna, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Bryant; three sisters, Frances Cronin, Daisy (Butch) Meredith and Linda Burdin.
Per Kenny’s request, there will be no funeral. He will be cremated and buried with his wife, Opal.
Boultinghouse Funeral Home of Rockport has been entrusted with care.
