Emma Rose Kirkland Wildt, 95, of Boonville, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Walnut Creek Memory Center in Evansville. She was born on April 29, 1930 to Everett and Margaret Emma Wilson of Rockport.
Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid sports mom and an incredible supporter of her children. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, dancing, cooking, and Christmas decorating.
She is survived by her three sons, Don (Susie), Ron (Linda), and Ken (Judy) Kirkland and three stepchildren, Dan (Janis) Wildt, Dirk (Monique) Wildt, and Diane (Jeff) Byers. Rose has 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her first husband, William Kirkland and her second husband, Arthur Wildt; grandson, Scott Kirkland; her siblings, Lilian Reitz, Mary Smith, Nila Smith, Roy Wilson, Revalee Davis, Rosalee Goodwin, Venetia Labhart, Earl Wilson and Yvonne Adkisson.
Services were held on Tuesday, December 23, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
