Sharon Ann Seddon, 82, passed away on March 22, 2026 surrounded by family and friends at The Beehive Homes in Scottsburgh.
Sharon was born November 25, 1943, to Thurman and Irene (Greene) Piper in Rockport.
Sharon had a great love for the Lord and served alongside her husband for 47 years in ministry in churches in Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia. She loved to read many things, but she was devoted to reading and studying God’s Word on a daily basis.
Sharon loved to garden, loved to cook for the churches that she served and her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Shiloh Baptist Church in Columbus was the last church at which she and her husband Jim served, but at the time of her passing she was attending Safe Harbor in Scottsburg.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Reverend James A. Seddon.
She is survived by her children, son Brian Seddon and daughter Sherry Mosley (Alan); grandchildren Dylan Seddon, Jordan Seddon, Maggie Mosley, Max Mosley, Codie Menzing (Trammell) and Faith Mosley; great-grandchildren, Layne Menzing and Abigail Menzing; her, sister, Eleanor Dean Daniel; brother, Roger Piper; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Services for Sharon will be Saturday, March 28, at 11 a.m. at Boultinghouse Funeral Home 527 Main Street Rockport, with Bro. Joe Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m.
