Rockport Elementary students and families filled the school for this year’s science fair Thursday evening. Area organizations lined the halls, gym, and grounds with all manner of fun and educational activities. Meanwhile, the cafeteria was filled to capacity with exhibits from talented students.

Many students took advantage of the beautiful spring weather to play outside. A life flight helicopter was meant to pay a visit, but was called out for an emergency while en route. There was still plenty of star power for the evening however. Prominent regional meteorologist Wayne Hart was present to talk shop and share the pleasant weather with the school community.
